Looking for External Reviewer, Bird Nest Temperature + Deep Learning Project

I search for an external reviewer for my MSc thesis, which focuses on using temperature sensors and deep learning to detect avian incubation behavior (on- and off-bouts).

Hi everyone!

My name is Jorge Lizarazo, a Colombian biologist, and I’m one of the 2024 WILDLABS Award winners (BoutScout project). I’m currently finishing dual master’s degrees in Engineering and Data Science at Universidad Icesi, and as part of my thesis work, I’ve been developing a deep learning model to detect avian incubation behavior (on- and off-bouts) using temperature data. Which also would be available as a API or Python Package at Pypi.

As a graduation requirement at the Uni, I need an external reviewer for my MSc thesis — ideally someone from the community who has experience with environmental sensors and/or machine learning either deep learning in conservation or ecology. The thesis is written in English, and the process is quite simple, it involves reading the document, providing feedback, and completing a short evaluation form with a numerical score. The defense is scheduled for July, and I’ll be ready to share the manuscript in about 9th June.

If this sounds like something you’d be open to, or if you know someone who might be a good fit, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks so much! 🙏 I'd appreciate any thoughts,
