Drone specific GIS training online for Conservationists

Hi there everyone!

Happy belated new year, I hope everyone had a great festive season around the world. My name is Sean Hill and I have been working in conservation since I was knee high to a grasshopper having grown up in the Kruger Park area in South Africa. In recent years I have been developing an online training academy for drone specific Geographic Information Systems for conservation called GeoWing Academy. I have designed a number of courses that are specific to conservation, agriculture etc however the skills learned on these courses are interchangeable between fields yet no course teaches the same thing (nothing is repeated, all courses teach new skills). Even if you have never seen a drone or used GIS before, the courses cater for everyone including experts in the GIS field. You do not need your own drone for these courses as all the training data and material are provided for each course.

I have designed the courses around the use of affordable, off the shelf consumer drone tech as data capture platforms, open source photogrammetry processing software and open source GIS and point cloud analysis software. The reason I have done this is because a simple, inexpensive RGB drone and some open source GIS knowledge can be used to generate a MASSIVE amount of important data extremely quickly therefore allow conservationists to recognise changes in the environment faster and more accurately than ever before and therefore implement management protocols fast. More expensive enterprise drone tech and software platforms are not always readily available for conservation outfits either due to their immense cost, yet the humble DJI consumer drone (for example) and open source software knowledge can do almost everything the more expensive platforms do but at a fraction of the cost. Open source software is also much more customisable so project specific workflow pipelines can be developed for your project specific needs. The only thing you need to access this extraordinary power is take the time to do the training. All courses are pre recorded so they can be done in the comfort of the office, bush camp, home or anywhere you have an internet link and they can be done at your own pace.

Sharing knowledge is the most powerful thing we have as humans and by leveraging shared knowledge in conservation for the benefit of our wildlife and wild spaces, we might have a fighting chance of maintaining some of it for future generations. The eyes in the sky will also allow us to see new things that have not been noticed or discovered yet which I find IMMENSLY exciting!! Please see the Course break down and costing PDF attached and go to www.geowingacademy.com for more information.

I am having difficulty with adding GeoWing Academy to The Inventory even though I have achieved my sprout badge. I click on the Organisations tab but nothing happens, can anybody help me?
