Thanks Adrien,
Great news. I would love to know if there is a policy or other guideline for applicants from commercial entities? By that I mean private businesses who are already active selling wildlife technology for profit. From what I saw last year, I don't think any awardees were already commercialized businesses. I think it would be entirely defensible to exclude companies like mine but would appreciate clarity first as these applications are time intensive.
Perhaps this also could be considered as a limited separate class of a single grant? As an elevator pitch to consider, companies like ours have the advantage of production, sales, and distribution infrastructure to scale new developments. Funny enough, free cashflow is the scarcest resource for small private entities. The commercial model does a good job on ongoing support and iterating existing ideas. However, entirely speculative ventures on new core technology often takes a backseat to the work that pays salaries and rent.

We got a couple different extension projects coming down the pipeline. Some are about making User interfaces and data platforms to handle conservation data flowing in. Others are about designing, building, and manufacturing new hardware.
Does this call prefer one or the other more? Like are you all more interested in a hardware thing, or a web+software thing?
