I am looking for a reliable camera trap software to process images efficiently. Key considerations:
✅ Handles large datasets smoothly
✅ Allows for multiple people to work on the project
✅ Doesn’t require data to be openly shared (as we work with clients) ( Fully cloud based are not ideal)
I´m exploring options like Camelot, Trapper, Traptagger, Timelapse, but we’d love to hear from those with hands-on experience. Any recommendations?
Currently I am mostly between Trapper or Trap tagger

I have been working with @kbubnicki and the TRAPPER team. We are working together to improve deployment and usability as well as adding functionality and new AI models. We're even looking into low-cost, local servers.

Hey @dsacras! Me and @HugoMarkoff are developing and about to release the first version of our Animal Detect platform by the end of this month.
It is fully-cloud, however, we are based in Europe and conform to GDPR privacy regulations regarding data handling. All data is yours and not shared.
New accounts will be given 1GB of data upload/processing for free so you can get a flavour of Animal Detect without any risk or cost. :)
Our focus is on simple interface + latest best AI models "under the hood" for best accuracy.
You can check the walkthrough video from our homepage: https://animaldetect.com
If you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions - I am always here!

Apologies as I haven't tried this option: AddaxAI (Previously known as EcoAssist). It can work offline, however currently only works for species for which a specific project has already been developed.
