I would like to propose a name change of the Remote Sensing/GIS group to Geospatial. Here's the main reason, Remote Sensing and GIS are components of Geospatial. GIS is the set of tools you may use to analyze geospatial data. Remote Sensing is data collected by energy reflected from the earth, typically from satellites and fixed-wing and drone aircraft (but via other methods, too). There are, however, many other sorts of geospatial data collected from the field using traditional and tech-based methods. Geospatial is a more encompassing term.
