Hey everyone, I'm verry happy to be here! 

According to me, camera traps are a game changer for community-driven monitoring. At INITIAM we are working with WWF-DRC Virunga-Itombwe landscape, to integrate camera trap data with drones and mobile reporting in the Itombwe landscape. It’s inspiring to see how others are applying this tool – I believe combining these methods will make monitoring even more powerful. 

Training is indeed the backbone of sustainable conservation tech. In our context, empowering women and youth with skills on drones, mobile apps, and digital platforms is showing great potential. I appreciate how this group emphasizes education – because without strong human capacity, even the best tools cannot achieve impact.
