I just wanted to draw attention to this great remote sensing training resource. There is a webinar series coming up on remote sensing for supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals. Other webinars range from a fundamental introduction to remote sensing, to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and advanced image classification.

Hi Steph, no this will be my first ARSET training webinar. Yes, the course list is quite impressive; I've also just signed up to Introduction to Synthetic Aperture Radar (but the timing isn't good for European residents unless you are nocturnal). I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi all! Adding on to that, I came across this book on remote sensing for ecologists that might be of interest. It gives examples and highlights open source software such as R and QGIS.
