Hi all,

as you may have noticed, sadly Planet mosaics and historical imagery were removed from GFW on April 1, 2025. Currently the Planet Monthly Mosaics (only available over the tropics) are available to purchase as a yearly bundle for 1,440 GBP/year (0r 144 GBP/month).

GFW is looking for feedback on how the removal of Planet mosaics from GFW has affected your work through a short survey here.

It would be great to understand how this has affected your work and what other alternatives you are exploring (if any).

The loss of the free NICFI tropics data has been a huge loss for us at CI. We have many teams that were using it for lots of different use cases. If anyone has alternatives, we would love to hear about them! Just looking at what we can get from Sentinel/Landsat now.
