Join us for the Nature Drone Forum (NDF) 2026 — a week of conservation technology and data events taking place from 2–7 March 2026 in Nairobi and Konza, Kenya.

Aligned with World Wildlife Day (3 March), NDF is a founder-funded, non-profit initiative advancing the ethical and impactful use of drones, sensors, AI, and emerging technologies for biodiversity protection.

The Forum brings together a series of connected events:

  • East African Drone Forum (2 March) — exploring BVLOS operations, African leadership, and cross-sector applications of drone technology.
  • Global Drones in Nature Conservation Symposium & Expo (G-DiNC, 3–5 March) — the flagship symposium and expo, launching on World Wildlife Day. Highlights include technical panels, poster sessions, exhibitions, and nine thematic breakout tracks. G-DiNC will also feature live field demonstrations at the Konza Drone Corridor, innovation and STEM competitions, the launch of the Global Drone Conservation Map, youth storytelling through the Voices from the Sky eBook, and a session on African Women for the Environment (with the SCB Africa Section). The WildDrone.eu PhD cohort will present their latest research.
  • Women in Conservation Forum (6 March) — a free, inclusive event celebrating women leaders in conservation technology, timed to welcome International Women’s Day (8 March).
  • Piloting Drones in Conservation – Field Operations & Data Skills Course (9–12 March) — a practical training program at Konza, focused on safe operations, conservation-sensitive protocols, and data workflows.
