You’re invited to join WILDLABS, CITES, the United Nations Development Programme, Jackson Wild, and the International Foundation for Animal Welfare as we celebrate World Wildlife Day (WWD) on March 4, 2024 in New York City at the United Nations from 10 AM - 1 PM EST.
The event’s theme is “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.” Attendees will hear speakers and presentations by WWD partners, including WILDLABS’ Stephanie O’Donnell, on how digital conservation technologies and services can drive wildlife conservation, sustainable and legal wildlife trade, and human-wildlife coexistence. There will be multimedia performances and presentations that highlight the latest and most impactful conservation technologies of today, and experts from around the world will share their experiences and ideas for bridging gaps in sustainable digital innovation for wildlife conservation. View the attached schedule.
If you’re interested in attending in-person, please reach out to Alex Rood by February 20 (alex.rood@wildlabs.net) for details on how to register for the event. The event will also be livestreamed on United Nations WebTV.
