There are no restrictions on hardware or technology! But the competition welcomes open source tech and libraries, and commercially available product use is allowed.
Projects will be awarded points on their ability to solve unique conservation tech technical challenges, demonstrating effective problem solving, technical efficiency, and the ability to really serve conservation scientists and organizations.
