IDEA WILD

IDEA WILD awards small equipment grants. They receive equipment requests daily, 50-70 requests/month, and prioritize them based on conservation impact, recipient need, and project location. Additional consideration is given to projects in areas identified as critical biodiversity hotspots. Their grants serve areas where support is needed most and advance biological research, conservation education, community outreach, conservation management, field training and professional development. 

Application Process

You can apply for an IDEA WILD equipment following these THREE STEPS:

  1. Download Application Guidelines. Read thoroughly and review Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). IDEA WILD will only review and approve complete application materials so please follow these guidelines carefully.
  2. Download the Application Form.
  3. Email your complete application materials to ideawild@ideawild.org. An email reply will be sent to you to confirm receipt of your materials within 10 working days.
