Individual persons can apply for small grants up to TZS 5M for tree planting projects, or Ma or PhD study projects.
Communtiy-based Organizations can apply for small grants up to TZS 10M for tree planting or beekeeping projects.
Civil society organizations and Faith-based organizations can apply for medium grants of between TZS 10M and 20M or large grants of between TZS 20M and 50M for implementation of alternative energy sources, tree planting or beekeeping projects.
Non-governmental organizations can apply for medium or large grants for implementing clean energy and alternative energy sources.
Training and research institutions can apply for medium or large grants. Government training and research institutions can apply for special purpose grants
Government institutions ( which range from government departments to government primary schools ) can apply for all types of grants including special purpose grants of more than TZS 50M. However, only primary and secondary schools can apply for small grants.
It is unclear to me what in this call exactly is the difference is between civil society organizations, NGOs and Community-based organizations. Usually civil society organizations include NGOs and community based organizations.
