Projects should focus on species that are globally threatened or data deficient according to the IUCN red list (categories DD, VU, EN, CR or EW), and (or?) that are little known or not covered by other conservation programs.
The call is not very specific when it comes to eligibility criteria, except that the applicant/principal investigator must be affiliated to an NGO, accredited zoo, academic institution or conservation organization.
There is a 50 min. youtube about the funding program ( which I didn't see )
Personal remark: It is not a big grant, but the application form seems relatively easy and straightforward.
