The Veterinary Initiative for Endangered Wildlife (VIEW) puts wildlife health at the forefront of conservation. Our mission is to protect endangered wildlife by tackling the health threats they face in their native habitats through local collaboration, evidence-based solutions, and sustainability. Through research, capacity-building, education, and providing technology, we can make a global impact on wildlife and the professionals that protect them.
VIEW is currently developing the Wildlife Health Information System (WHIS), digital disease surveillance system designed specifically for free-ranging wildlife. WHIS can help conservation professionals track diseases, study disease dynamics, monitor populations, and analyze aggregated data.
