CatchCam is an underwater camera that removes the guesswork from fishing. It’s easy to install, easy to use, and makes a difference from first use.
Record colour video of fishing gear in action in depths of up to 800 metres. Use this footage to observe gear performance and improve the effectiveness of bycatch mitigation techniques. Simply manage and review recorded video in the CatchCam App.
- The CatchCam Camera and LED Lamp are both only 13.5cm in length so it can be attached to almost anywhere on the fishing gear
- It is completely wireless (remote-controlled and comes with a wireless charger)
- The camera and LED Lamp are highly durable and have withstood over 200 tows attached to a scallop dredge
- Record and store 100 hours of footage on one charge (when recording at 10fps)
- The camera can de deployed at depths of up to 800 metres underwater.
- Footage is wirelessly transferred from the CatchCam Camera to the CatchCam app using WIFI for streaming which removes the need for SD cards or cables
- Record and download footage at different frame rates to increase battery life and reduce video download times
