iNaturalist is a Citizen Science app that allows recording of biodiversity observations and provides a species identification system. It has a model that gives suggestions on identified species but those in the community are still able to identify and confirm the observations. It brings together a community of experts and those interested in nature to contribute to species identification by sharing species observed and and create research-quality citizen science data for science and conservation.
