They seem to be a little bit far apart. But It occurred to me that a python would be a tremendous predator if you lived in a submerged burrow. They are also roughly the size of the prey animals for a python. I am going to go ahead and say that the endless innuendo is actually a feature. But Canadian Beavers are invasive in Patagonia and with no natural predation.
In my vision, we use some drones to find pythons in Florida and live capture, then 'spay or neuter' them, not sure of the snake term. Made infertile, released into the areas most affected in South America. They go out to live their best lives and die of natural causes, while carrying data loggers or something. I don't know much about putting data collars on snakes. Sounds like a porn category. But I bet they would reduce the beaver population.
