A few days ago we launched the first 5 of 25 new satellites into the Argos constellation. You can watch the rocket launch via the YouTube link below.
Happy to note that the first five satellites are performing as expected, and we look forward to launching the next 5 in September and having these first 10 satellites available to collect/push data by the end of the year (full constellation operational Summer 2025).
These satellites will provide a significant boost to the revisit time (turning gaps from hours into minutes) along with a substantial increase in data throughput (2x+ data). I am excited to see what the next year+ has in store! Should be pretty awesome!!

Congrats! Exciting times in the space industry. Going to be many interesting new products enabled by such constellations.

Hi Thomas,
Is this affecting PTTs already deployed (should we expect more Doppler location data coming in from them)? or only devices that are set to communicate with the new constellation?
"No time Toulouse" 😂

I am happy to report that we have had successful communication with the satellites since they became active. This batch along with the next one are scheduled to come online at the end of the year. Perhaps just in time for the holidays - I hope :)
