The Center for Biodiversity Conservation and Endangered Species (CBES) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of biodiversity and endangered species in Vietnam. CBES focuses on research and implementation of innovative approaches, with a particular emphasis on the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Their dedicated Department of Data and Geographical Information Systems utilizes GIS technology to address real-life conservation challenges, including mobile app development for field data collection, remote sensing for habitat mapping, and advanced species distribution modeling. CBES aims to utilize GIS as a key tool for studying and safeguarding biodiversity in Vietnam.
