CoralNet is a resource for automated and semi-automated annotation and analysis of coral reef images. This resource counts 3,000 registered users and over 65 million annotations. The site deploys dee neural networks for annotation and also serves as a data repository and collaboration platform, free to use. When enough benthic images are manually annotated, an automated annotator is trained and integrated directly into the annotation tool, using state of the art computer vision methods.
