MMLA is a novel multi-environment, multi-species, low-altitude drone dataset designed to enhance wildlife detection in ecological and conservation monitoring. Collected from three diverse sites--Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Mpala Research Centre in Kenya, and The Wilds in Ohio-- includes high-resolution drone video annotations for six species: zebras, giraffes, onagers, and African wild dogs. With 811K annotations across 37 videos, MMLA addresses the limitations of standard detection models like YOLO, which struggle to generalize across locations and rare species.
